  iam ticked off.

  during the watchtower lesson about the genration change i feel that it should have been given at least an entire watchtower lesson to cover and not just 1 or 2 paragraphs.

  we have been taught one way for so long and then all of a sudden its changed but not thoroughly covered.

  Who to Send a Disassociation Letter To?

  if i am going to send a disassociation letter, i am wondering which hounder to send it to.

  i know there is no mailboxes at the kingdumb hell, so any letters that get sent there would end up dead mail.

  and i know that one does not send them to the washtowel slaveholdery.

  i was out friday night with a few of the friends i have made since leaving jws behind, when lo and behold, it turns out that one of their boyfriends was an exjw too!

  i was excited at first, as i had not yet met someone who was exjw and gay in the flesh until now.

  however, my excitement was shortlived.

  letter had to do with checks written at the upcomig district conventions (bs sessions) checks are not the be made out to watchtower but are to be made out the congreagtion of jehovah witnesses.

  what gives with this anyone want to hazard a guess?

  it was two years and two months ago when i told my mother that i no longer recognize the wts religion as being "the truth.

  " as you may know, to a jw mother, this is like telling her you've decided to jump off a skyscraper.

  i have spoken to her only two times since then, and have not seen her or my dad since then.

  I would only change one thing: instead of talking about not holding back from telling people what you THINK about the organization, talk about not holding back the FACTS of the organization's history, and any events that happened to you.

  How Many Here Still Attend Meetings Sometimes?

  if so, how often.. do you still attend the memorial?.

  i never go, ever, and haven't been to a memorial in about 6 years (been too long to accurately remember) - i'm too far gone.

  I felt bad about missing my second Memorial, but then I really started my healing processing, and cleaned out the lies and guilt.
  
  Don't go to those meetings if at all possible. They slow your growth.
